The Defence Minister described Ashok Leyland’s new electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing unit in Lucknow as a landmark for Uttar Pradesh’s industrial growth. “The initiative will not only place Uttar Pradesh but also the entire nation at the leading edge of clean and green mobility as well as future-oriented technologies. “The journey towards a developed India passes through a developed Uttar Pradesh.”Recalling the situation prior to 2017, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath alleged that investors were withdrawing from the State. “The lawlessness prevalent in Uttar Pradesh was well known, leading to a gradual withdrawal of investors. Upon taking office in 2017, the government has reiterated that Uttar Pradesh possesses unlimited potential.
