AFTER two years of planning, Damansara Kim residents not only have a well-lit alley in their neighbourhood, but also a colourful mural to go with it. The Natural Garden-themed mural that is being painted along the side lane of Jalan SS20/10 in Damansara Kim, Petaling Jaya. Jamaliah said the residents specifically asked to include the national flower as it was a popular plant in the neighbourhood. Leong, who plants a variety of flowers and fruit trees, was popular among the residents for his well-tended garden and blooming hibiscus. Wong said the mural was a great way to complement the path as it made it “livelier” instead of walking past another dull looking building.
