On Tuesday, a group of Eid holiday travellers – impatient after sitting on buses for hours – got off on one side of the Bangabandhu Bridge road with a bat and ball and started playing cricket. Stranded passengers are trying to pass their time this way to deal with the hardship on the road. Meanwhile, some agitated travellers set fire to a magistrate's car at Bikramhati in Tangail Sadar upazila while protesting against the 30-km tailback, stretching from Bangabandhu Bridge to Mirzapur.
