MANILA, Philippines — A motorcycle rider was killed following a crash with a commuter van in Pasay City on Thursday evening. An initial report from the South Police District (SPD) identified the victim as Aldie Paglangan, 37. The van driver meanwhile was identified as Efren Añonuevo, 32. Paglangan sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Pasay City General Hospital for immediate medical treatment. He was declared dead on arrival at 11:50 p.m.Añonuevo meanwhile was arrested and is now facing charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
