The High Court has directed parties in a suit filed by a sports organization challenging the election of the National Olympic Committee of Kenya (Noc-k) to exchange documents ahead on hearing in July. Justice John Mativo yesterday directed parties, who are opposed to the suit and those supporting Kenya Taekwondo Federation to go back to court on July 31 for a hearing of the dispute. The Noc-k elections were set for May but aborted after KTA obtained a Court Order stopping the same. The two are opposed the suit, saying the federation has no legal capacity to institute the suit. Election overseers said internal battles over the leadership of the taekwondo federation meant they couldn’t vote or stand for positions.
