Parthiv Patel completed 10,000 runs in First-Class cricket, during the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2017-18 contest between India Red and India Green, being played at the Ekana International Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Parthiv Patel achieved the feat during his first-innings score of 17 while captaining India Greens. Before this contest, the left-handed batsman had played a total of 169 First-Class matches, scoring 9,995 runs with 25 centuries and 26 fifties at 44.22.
