The Parole Board says fraudster Sharleen Lynch is making progress, but is still not ready to be released. In August 2015 Lynch was jailed for four years on one count of blackmail and seven of fraudulently using a document, relating to the insurance fraud. In a parole decision released yesterday, the board said Lynch had taken steps to mitigate her risk of gambling by applying to be excluded from gambling venues near her upon release. The board revealed Lynch has been working as a cleaner in the health unit, and had ``proven to be a reliable worker with a strong work ethic''. The board said Lynch had ``consolidated'' on progress she made towards release, and would be seen again in September.
