The Parliament website is back online after being down for more than 12 hours. Parliament.nz, where questions from the debating chamber are published, could not be accessed on Friday night or early Saturday morning. The Restaurant Association is currently running a petition on the website calling for the Government to spend $27m subsidising meals. Restaurant Association chief executive Marisa Bidois said several people who wanted to back the petition contacted the association on Friday night saying they couldn’t access the site. “Given the petition ends on Monday we don’t have the benefit of time so it’s very disappointing.”supplied The Restaurant Association's Marisa Bidois fears a petition by the association has been affected by an outage on the Parliament website.
