KUALA LUMPUR: The Pardons Board committee will meet at 5 pm tomorrow to discuss the application for royal pardon for PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. His daughter Nurul Izzah who is PKR vice-president said she was informed of the 5pm meeting by Anwar’s lawyer, R. Sivarasa. Asked if Anwar would be released tomorrow, Nurul Izzah said: “God willing, tomorrow.”In 2015, Anwar was sentenced to five years’ jail after the Federal Court upheld his guilty verdict. Meanwhile, PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail declined to elobrate on the matter. "InsyaAllah (Anwar) will speak tomorrow Happy Ramadan," she told reporters at the Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital, today.
