Paranoid rage drove New Zealand man Sergey Koudryavtsev to murder parents in gruesome stabbing

Former Wellington man Sergey Koudryavtsev plead guilty to murdering both his parents in LondonA Kiwi man living in London has told a court he fantasised about murdering his parents for three and a half months before he finally snapped. After splitting with his wife in 2016, the dual New Zealand and Russian citizen moved to London to live with his parents, Tatiana and Vladimir Koudryavtsev. He started imagining gruesome plans to murder his parents as revenge for the way they treated his dog. On May 20, after a heated argument about the dog, he stabbed both parents to death. Psychiatric reports said he suffered from long-standing anger and rage and the killings were a result of "pre-morbid personality traits".
