Trevor Finnerty was struck off after a Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service (HCPTS) hearing into the incident. But he later texted the woman, saying "this is u friendly ambulance service, how was u service", the tribunal heard, which prompted the woman to call the police. In his written submission, the paramedic said he saw himself as the main victim of the incident. Finnerty, of previous good character, has since sought counselling and been keeping himself busy with church activities, the tribunal heard.
