Paolo Duterte files another libel case vs. Trillanes 1499 SHARES Share it! Duterte’s counsel lawyer Rainer L. Madrid bared in a press briefing that their camp filed the case before City Prosecutor’s Office here on Wednesday afternoon. Madrid said when Duterte did not immediately file the case because he wanted to conduct an investigation first. Earlier, Prosecutor Faizal Padate already sent a subpoena to Trillanes asking him to file a counter affidavit within 10 days on the first libel case filed by Duterte and his brother-in-law, lawyer Manases Carpio. Duterte and Carpio filed a total of P6.6 million damage suit against Trillanes last December 2017 on the same incident.
