CONVICTED general Jovito Palparan Jr. will be transferred to the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa on Wednesday to serve his sentence, a Malacanang official said. In a text message, Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. told reporters that Armed Forces Chief Carlito Galvez Jr. confirmed to him the transfer date of Palparan. “Sir accordingly this coming Wednesday,” Roque said quoting Galvez, when he asked when Palparan would be turned over to Muntinlupa. Aside from Palparan, the court also sentenced Lt. Col. Felipe Anotado Jr. and Staff Sgt. Army spokesman Louie Villanueva confirmed that Palparan was still under the custody of the Army.
