Palmerston North pupils give their mother tongues a workout


Palmerston North pupils have put pen to paper in their mother tongues to maintain their language and identities. Palmerston North Intermediate Normal School held its First Voice workshop at the Conference and Function Centre on Tuesday. The children, who spoke 23 languages between them, worked with 30-40 mentors to write about the theme "school".
