Share:Minister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad on Tuesday said that long-lasting peace in Afghanistan was a prerequisite for stability in the region and Pakistan wants peace and stability in Afghanistan. He said that the government of Pakistan was providing full assistance to those Afghan citizens and foreigners leaving Afghanistan. Canadian High Commissioner praised Pakistan for timely assistance in the safe evacuation of Afghan citizens at the request of the Canadian High Commission. She lauded the efforts of Pakistan in the evacuation of foreigners and Afghan citizens from Afghanistan. She expressed the desire to evacuate further people from Afghanistan and sought support from Pakistan.
