Share:ISLAMABAD - The coronavirus positivity rate in Pakistan remained below 5 percent for the second consecutive day on Sunday, as the cases in the country continue to decline. According to the latest statistics of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), Pakistan on Sunday recorded 2,580 new coronavirus infections, pushing the nationwide tally of the cases to 1,223,841. In addition to this, the number of total active cases stood at 63,909 in Pakistan as of Sunday morning. Centre reports 71 single-day virus deathsAt least 3,164 more people have recovered from Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, taking the total to 1,132,726. A day earlier, the number of total active Covid-19 cases fell to 64,564 as 3,610 people made full recovery from the disease.
