ISLAMABAD: Pakistan U19 team is all set to play its first international series on their own soil in 15 years. The Bangladesh U19 squad will be travelling to Pakistan to play one four-day match and five limited-over matches, all of which will take place in Faisalabad. When Bangladesh’s young cricketers visited Pakistan in 2007, it was the last time Karachi had hosted an official youth series. Afghanistan’s U19 squad travelled to Pakistan in 2014, although the games were not recognized as youth ODIs. It is highly likely that the best players from the ongoing Pakistan Junior League (PJL) will be part of the junior team during the U19 series against Bangladesh.
