Pair jailed for running companies in breach of prohibitionsSUPPLIED David Blake, left, and Lance Ryan, right, during their first appearance in the Auckland District Court. David Blake and Lance Ryan have both been sentenced in an Auckland District Court jury trial to more than two years in prison for breaching the Companies Act and Crimes Act by running companies when prohibited. Blake ran the companies with assistance from his wife, Hayley Blake, also known as Heesoo Byun or Heesook Byun, and Lance Ryan. Hayley Blake and Ryan were recorded on the Companies Register as the directors of the companies, and also controlled the shareholdings. Both are also undischarged bankrupts, and prohibited from taking part in managing a business under the Insolvency Act 2006.
