Heavy rain with lighting and strong winds are expected over Nueva Ecija and Bulacan on Monday morning, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned. ADVERTISEMENTThe warning came in a thunderstorm advisory issued at 8:16 a.m., Monday, Sept. 17, 2018. The advisory also predicted light to moderate rainfall over Metro Manila, Quezon, Rizal, Laguna, Batangas, Cavite and Tarlac. Pagasa said the weather conditions would prevail in the next two hours from the time the advisory was issued. It advised residents in areas affected by heavy rain to watch out for flash floods and landslides.
