WAKEFIELDThree Indonesians kidnapped in waters off Tawi-Tawi, Sulu in January, 2017 were released by their captors to the military in Barangay Buanza, Indanan, Sulu last Saturday. The three have already been turned over to Brigadier General Divino Rey Pabayo Jr., commander of the Joint Task Force Sulu; former Governor Abdusakur Tan; and Senior Superintendent Labra, director of the Sulu Police Provincial Office (PPO). The three Indonesians were forcibly taken by armed men while onboard a speedboat in waters off Taganak Island, Tawi-Tawi on Jan. 18, 2017. The release was made possible through the joint efforts of the Joint Task Force Sulu, Miss Tarhata Misuari,Abdul Kiram Misuari, and former Governor Abdusakur Tan.
