Crews are at the scene of a paddock fire on Kakaramea Rd, Ngahinapouri. Fire crews have now put out a large paddock fire on Kakaramea Rd in Ngahinapouri. At about 6.45 pm Five fire trucks and four water tankers were trying to put out the blaze near Finlayson Rd, Fire and Emergency shift manager Kaisey Cook said. The fire spanned about 2-3 hectares, Cook said. The fire was not thought to endanger any buildings, she said.
