Pacquiao’s chief legal counsel, lawyer Tom Falgui, assured in a telephone interview with The Manila Times that the 12-round title fight will definitely be held on January 19 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. A two-city press tour, according to Falgui has been scheduled in New York and Los Angeles on November 19 and 20, respectively. Senator Pacquiao and his party will be flying to New York on Saturday in time for the events, Falgui said. The champ’s preparation will start in earnest next week in Manila because of the opening of the senate session on Wednesday.
