Timber Market Associ­ation Presid­ent Sulema­n Soomro, son Ali Soomro arrest­edKARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and member of the Sindh Assembly Ramzan Ghanchi was wounded on Thursday after a dispute over the water supply in Karachi’s Timber Market. Ghanchi was immediately shifted to a hospital after being shot in his leg. Police arrested Karachi Timber Market Association (KTMA) President Suleman Soomro and his son Ali Soomro, they are trying to arrest his other son Shahnawaz Soomro as well. PTI Karachi chapter President Khurrum Sher Zaman and other party workers rushed to the hospital. The water board should have taken a decision about the distribution of water in the city,” said PTI leader Firdous Shamim Naqvi.
