Col (retd) Asif informed the chief minister that the West Indies Women Cricket team was to arrive in Karachi on January 30 and will be playing a few matches which will be followed by PSL matches. “Our police and Rangers have made a comprehensive security plan,” Shah said. Earlier, Home Secretary Kazi Kabir chaired a meeting with the Security Coordination Committee to review arrangements. Police, special branch, special security unit, Rangers and a commando battalion of army will be providing security for these events.
