The Kenitra Peugeot plant will double its production capacity by 2020, said a PSA Group management source during a site visit organized by the Ministry of Industry. The PSA Automotive Group intends to double its production capacity at its Kenitra plant. “The plant will start in 2019 and we will double its size by 2020 to go from 100,000 to 200,000 cars produced per year,” said the PSA group management source. The PSA Group plans to inject in its Kenitra plant a total amount of €550 million. As a reminder, the first car engine was assembled in the Kenitra plant this year and the assembly of the first cars began last July.
