Share TweetBy Hanah TabiosPANGLAO, Bohol – The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) will unveil the new Panglao International Airport, the country’s first eco-airport in Bohol today with President Duterte as guest of honor. The new P8.914-billion international airport sits in a 220-hectare expanse which is 10 times bigger than Tagbilaran Airport’s 22-hectare,which can only accommodate about 800,000 passengers per year. Water treatment facilityMeanwhile, the province is also set to inaugurate in early December a water treatment facility-initiated by Richli Corporation, a private company owned by Bohol-native businessman Richard Lim. The water treatment project is expected to benefit at least 10,000 to 15,000 households in select Bohol towns of Panglao, Andaois, and Tagbilaran.
