Share TweetBy Genalyn KabilingMalacañang has designated National Housing Authority (NHA) acting general manager Marcelino Escalada Jr. to temporarily assume the functions of Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) secretary general. Escalada’s designation would be in addition to his current functions as NHA head to ensure the continued delivery of public service, according to Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea. The designation was made following the dismissal of HUDCC secretary general Falconi Millar. Millar, however, claimed he filed his resignation last week, adding that allegations against him were part of a demolition job.
