MANILA, Philippines — The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) on Wednesday said they will continue encoding election returns (ERs) to verify poll results despite the closure of the transparency server. The PPCRV collects election returns from clustered precincts in the country and manually encodes them to check if they match with the results from the transparency server. Serrano said that the rankings from the elections returns and the transparency server have matched so far. As of 12:51 a.m. on Tuesday morning, the PPCRV had received election returns from 51,538 of the 85,769 clustered precincts or 60.09 percent of the clustered precincts in the country. The election returns came from Metro Manila (7,173 election returns), Luzon (24,331 election returns), Visayas (15,334 election returns), and Mindanao (4,700 election returns).
