MANILA, Philippines — The lockdown in Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) is extended until Sept. 30 to give way to the quarantine period of COVID-19-infected cadets and personnel, its director said Tuesday. Initially, PNPA in Cavite was placed under lockdown from Sept. 3 to Sept. 18 after some cadets were found positive for the coronavirus disease. PNPA currently has five buildings converted into isolation centers which offer essential goods and amenities for the cadets and personnel who contracted COVID-19.
