MANILA, Philippines — The director of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) has been promoted to two-star general. ADVERTISEMENTFour other police officials with the previous rank of colonel were also promoted into brigadier general. Gen. Remus Canieso, deputy regional director for administration (DRDA) of the Police Regional Office 6; and Brig. Gen. Ildebrande Usana, DRDA of Police Regional Office 7. PNP officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa said more police officials are set to be promoted soon as more police officials are set to retire in the coming months.
