–Imran says govt has nothing to do with Sana’s arrestA day after the expiry of the assets declaration scheme, the prime minister said the government has given enough time to people who own benami properties and now the government will take “indiscriminate action against the benami assets and properties”. He made these comments during a meeting of the party leaders and spokespersons that was convened to review the overall political situation of the country and hold consultations after the arrests of opposition leaders. Speaking about the arrest of Sanaullah, he said the government had nothing to do with the arrest of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker. During the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the government has no connections with the arrest of Rana Sanaullah. He expressed hopes that his visit to Washington will bring improvement in Pakistan-US bilateral ties and regional situation.
