Addressing the gathering, the PPP chairman recalled it was former president Asif Ali Zardari who “provided identity and rights” to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). The PPP leader said that former president had increased the budget of tribal areas to 500 per cent during the tenure of the PPP. Bilawal said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government ruined KP in the last six years. The PPP chairman said that provinces are becoming bankrupt due to the poor economic policies of the incumbent government. The PPP chairman also urged the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take steps to ensure free and fair elections in the country.
