Photo: PMODHAKA, Mar 21, 2026 (BSS)- Prime Minister Tarique Rahman offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Jatiya Eidgah ground here this morning. The President and the Prime Minister then offered their prayers in the country’s main Eid congregation at the National Eidgah at 8:34am. Khatib of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Mufti Muhammad Abdul Malek conducted the Eid prayers and administered munajat (prayer), seeking peace and welfare for the country and the whole Muslim world. Later, he will exchange Eid greetings with cabinet members, members of parliament, distinguished citizens, academicians, ulema and mashaikh, artists and writers, and senior civil servants and civil society members as well as cross sections of people.
