KUALA NERUS: The Barisan Nasional government need a strong mandate to enable it to continue bringing development and transformation for the betterment of the people. “For example, our people’s housing project is touted as among the best in the world. We use the revenue generated from the goods and service tax to fund the project, which ultimately benefit people from the lower income bracket,” he said at the launch of the people’s housing project at Bukit Nanas in Tepoh here this evening. He said the project will add value to businesses and is expected to bring tremendous growth in Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan. Najib also announced that the government had approved RM60 million for a project to house the current traders in Pasar Payang in Kuala Terengganu.
