"You can deny and say whatever but remember, do not overcharge because it is haram,” he added. Tengku Adnan, who is also Umno secretary-general, was representing Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to officiate Kimma’s 40th AGM. "I call on these restaurant owners not to simply overcharge but instead help the government to ease the people's burden," he said. Tengku Adnan urged Kimma to remain united and serve the people in view of the general election, adding that unscrupulous parties were out to sabotage the Barisan Nasional government.
