PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia has successfully achieved a vaccination rate of more than 300,000 doses a day, says Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. The Prime Minister said that on Monday (July 5), a total of 313,761 doses were administered with 6,585,002 individuals having received their first dose, while another 2,735,474 individuals had completed their second dose. Muhyiddin said that when announcing the National Recovery Plan on June 15, he had set an increase in the vaccination rate to more than 300,000 doses a day beginning July. The Prime Minister also thanked and congratulated the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme coordinating minister Khairy Jamaluddin and Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba. “My thanks also goes to the frontliners, volunteers and all Malaysians for taking part in the vaccination programme and making it a success,” said Muhyiddin.
