Tonight may end up being the coldest night of the new week, with mild and moist flow forecast for the Mid-Atlantic starting Tuesday. Gusty winds from this afternoon should become essentially nonexistent as the center of a building high pressure moves overhead tonight. Clear skies and calm winds should result in a cold night. Afternoon highs should range from 54 to 58 degrees before clouds overtake the area in the early afternoon ahead of our next weather maker. We could end up a bit cooler than currently forecast if clouds move in a few hours earlier.
