During his visit, Modi is expected to visit the infamous Pietermaritzburg railway station in South Africa where Mahatma Gandhi was thrown off a train in 1893. “There will be cultural programmes and speech by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at both the venues. Modi is also scheduled to address two public meetings, the first in Johannesburg in South Africa on 8 July. The audience will be Indians living in South Africa and Kenya.
