Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to go to India on a two-day visit later this month. Hasina will open the ‘Bangladesh Bhaban’ at the Visva-Bharati University in Santiniketan of West Bengal. Another university named after Bangladesh’s national poet, Kazi Nazrul Islam, will award Sheikh Hasina an honorary DLit degree. “This visit cannot be called a full bilateral state visit,” a Bangladeshi diplomat in India told the Bangla Tribune. According to her itinerary, Prime Minister Hasina will land at Kolkata airport on the morning of May 25.
