She thanked the OIC at the 10th session of the “Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers” held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhakaon Tuesday. “In this respect, the multi-dimensional role of OIC is commendable.”The OIC secretary general, heads of different OIC institutions, tourism ministers of different countries have arrived in Dhaka to attend the conference. The longest beach in Cox's Bazar, the Sundarbans, and tea-gardens in the north-eastern part of the country are some of the exciting natural surroundings for holiday-making, she said. “This will facilitate the tourists to fly directly to Cox's Bazar from any part of the world. Cox's Bazar is being connected by rail network also.”The theme of the conference is “Promoting Regional Integration through Tourism”.
