The prime minister thanked China for its support in importing Thai rice and for its important role in the tourism sector. Both sides reviewed progress on trade cooperation, particularly Thailand's rice exports under an agreement to supply 500,000 tonnes to China. On Chinese investment, Mr Zhang said China does not condone illegal conduct by its investors or business operators and is ready to cooperate with Thailand in law enforcement and regulatory oversight. During the meeting, Mr Zhang praised Mr Anutin's leadership, citing his achievements in a short period and his dedication to duty.
