This generated a total trade value of $1.87 billion, with a trade deficit for the Philippines of $879.87 million. Hong Kong took in $513.67 million worth of Philippine exports for a 10.9-percent share of total exports during the month. The latest PSA data show that Greater China—comprised of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan—is among the Philippines’ top 10 export markets. China had a 10.6-percent share to total exports, with shipments valued at $499.15 million.
