Tainted judges no longer part of JudiciarySupreme Court (SC) records showed that three of the seven trial court judges named by President Duterte as involved in illegal drugs are no longer members of the judiciary. They were identified as Judge Antonio Reyes of Baguio City RTC, Judge Savilo of Iloilo City RTC, Judge Casiple of Kalibo, Aklan RTC, and Judge Ezekiel Dagala of Dapa, Siargao MTC. The four other judges named by the President are still members of the judiciary. Judge Rene Gonzales who was also named by President Duterte has retired from the Iloilo City metropolitan trial court. Records showed that Judge Roberto Navidad was shot dead in 2008 in Calbayog City where he was assigned as judge of the regional trial court (RTC).
