The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said on Saturday it would help cover the treatment cost of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) patients. This comes after PhilHealth announced it would shoulder the full cost of Covid-19 treatments until April 14. PCSO also said it would issue new guidelines for Covid-19 packages based on accepted protocols. “For Covid-19 patients and their families who battle with uncertainty, knowing that the cost of hospitalization is one less worry is a big relief,” Garma said. According to her, 30 percent of the price of each ticket bought goes to the PCSO Charity Fund.
