PETALING JAYA: Former minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim (pic) is now expected to announce his decision to join DAP at his residence in Tropicana on Tuesday morning. Zaid claimed that the club had received "instructions from the top" to cancel the press conference. No detailed reasons were given, except that they received instructions from the 'top'," he said briefly when contacted. When contacted, Royal Selangor Club said that it could not immediately comment on the matter. Zaid, formerly of PKR and Parti Kita, is widely believed to be planning a return to active politics by joining DAP.
