The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Board’s decision to cancel the remaining Philippine Cup elimination round games indefinitely due to the Covid-19 pandemic drew support from the league’s coaches, players and fans. “I believe the PBA did the right thing by postponing games,” Cone told media the day after Commissioner Willie Marcial announced the cancellation. Marcial said the league will evaluate the situation on a day-to-day basis to determine the best time to resume the games. “Postponing some games is a good decision,” Alas, for his part said. “I think the PBA made the right move in postponing the games, the former TNT assistant bench tactician said.
