KUALA LUMPUR: PAS youth held a rally in the heart of the city to protest the high cost of living for Malaysians. The rally, called "Hit & Run Derita Rakyat", started around 9pm on Monday (Dec 31) and lasted about an hour. The crowd, which gathered outside Sogo shopping complex, held up signs that called for lower fuel prices and the abolishment of PTPTN. PAS Youth chief Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi blamed the Pakatan Harapan government for the high costs of living. A light drizzle did not dampen the spirits of the protesters, who chanted and held up the signs to curious onlookers.
