P7.6-M shabu seized in Negroshome/News/Regions/P7.6-M shabu seized in NegrosBACOLOD CITY: A buy-bust by the drug enforcement team of San Carlos City Police Station and agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-WesternVisayas yielded P7.67 million worth of shabu in the mountainous area of Upper Mahayahay in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental. Operatives seized six big packs and several sachets of shabu weighing about 640 grams. Records showed that Alquiza was jailed for an illegal drug case two years ago and was released only last month. Huge volumes of shabu have been seized in the northern Negros city in the past months. The seized illegal drugs, weighing about six kilos, were packed in six transparent resealable plastic pouches that were wrapped in paper and sealed with packing tape.
