Warner Bros.Warner Bros.’ DC Extended Universe tent-pole Justice League collected an estimated $72 million over the weekend, a 61 percent drop from last weekend, its debut. As I’ve written before, I suspect that at a $300 million production cost Justice League is going to lose money for the studio. In Russia Justice League stands at $9.5 million after 10 days, which means it will fall well short of Suicide Squad’s $25 million cume there. South Korea has been a relative bright spot for Justice League; its $12 million so far puts it close to surpassing Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman, which both earned $14 million there. Thor: Ragnarok has collected $35 million in Korea, a total that is hopelessly out of reach for the multi-hero Justice League.
