Cabinet approval has been granted to provide an overall kit for students undergoing vocational training in the workshops. Currently there are nine institutes for training related to workshops and constructions which are functioning under the State Ministry of Skills Development, Vocational Education, Research and Innovation. Nearly 30,000 are currently undergoing training under these institutes. The suits are designed to ensure their safety and to enable trainees to engage in relevant training as a naval professional. Accordingly, from January 2021, these protective suits will be distributed in association with workshops.
